PM Modi receives ceremonial welcome in France

President Macron invited PM Modi to attend the Bastille Day Parade as the guest of honour

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in France for an official two-day visit on July 13. In a special gesture, the Prime Minister of France Elisabeth Borne welcomed Modi at the airport, where a ceremonial welcome and tri-service Guard of honour were accorded to him .

The Indian Prime Minister will be attending the Bastille Day Parade as the guest of honour on the invitation of French President, Emmanuel Macron. Modi’s visit also marks the 25th anniversary of India-France Strategic Partnership.
